SO EXCITED! (Custom Order)

For the first time in my life, I have ordered a custom guitar. The order was sent in on 7/24/18 and I was told I might not get it till 2/1/19. Just got an update and it might be ready in December!

It will be an OM2H SS VN.(short scale, vintage now neck) Abalone Rosette soundhole. Koa binding on the body, neck, headstock and heel cap. Style Three backstrip, Rope purfling, Flowerpot inlay on the headstock, Style 42 snowflake inlay on the fret board, Pyramid Bridge,Sitka top, East Indian Rosewood, gold waverly tuners.

That should be one really very nice Collings Guitar. You have some thoughtful customized options there counsellor.
The guitar is the easiest instrument to play and the hardest to play well

Well, here my friends, is THE first real thread on the Collings Forum. What an excellent thing. Now, I truly am smiling. Elambo and Frank, you two should be incredibly proud of yourselves. Because we sure are proud of you two.

Thank for all the nice comments. I can't wait to get it and then figure out how to post photos of it here. Tried to post a photo of my D2HSB, but the file was rejected as being too large.

I just received a OM SS I had build with Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides. Spectacular instrument. You’ll be please and it’s worth the wait. Congratulations!

Wow congrats. Tasmanian Blackwood! would love to see photos and a video clip. Yes, the wait is long, but I know it will be worth it. I love my D2HSB and Waterloo JK to death!
