Demo of Bill Collings "Blue Collection" Archtop

Nice guitar! I visited Rudy's Music in Soho NYC, who is offering the Chinery Blue Collection on behalf of the Chinery estate. I played the D`Aquisto, the Monteleone and a few others and the Collings had its own proud voice in such company.
I`d never met Bill but this was kind of like a visit with him.

Wow. Thanks Paul! It’s nice to see that this blue Collings archtop still exists. What else can you tell us about the collection? They’re all still together? On display anywhere? I think back in the 90’s they were displayed at the Smithsonian?

Actually they are still together and are being offered for sale at auction via Rudy`s
That`s how I had the chance to do the demo as they will start the auction this month

That blue Collings archtop is an extraordinary instrument!!!
