Hello fellow forum members,

Does anybody here have any comments on Collings delivery estimates?

I ordered from my local dealer in late June 18' and was told "Early December"...in early December I was told "early January"...in January I was told "late January".....as you know it's Feb ...(the estimates were given by Collings Customer Service)

Not complaining just trying to get a feel for whether this is par for the course?

What did you order? I've had mixed results from 3-6 months depending on the type of guitar and woods used. Also, my estimates were always impacted by the December holidays, and NAMM in January.

I ordered a custom Collings in July and have just been told estimated date of completion is 2/20/19. I believe that 6-8 months for a Custom build is standard.

I ordered one that was originally due this month and got pushed back to late March but now I'm told early March so maybe your guitar will be done sooner rather than later!
