I've had an 2022 OM2h for the last few months, and used to have an older OM1 and a '90s DS2H, and I've been saying the same as kh1967 in conversations - the 2022 doesn't give up a thing to the older builds. Collings are literally the only guitar that I'd always feel comfortable buying on the internet. The consistency is second to none that I know of.
