A bit off topic, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to a purchase for something that holds flatpicks, thumbpicks and fingerpicks that would fit neatly inside a guitar case?

A metal Altoids box?

great idea on the altoids box. any of those little tins from the old days would be cool, too. beats whatever blue ship charges for their little wooden boxes. although they are nice, but maybe TOO small.

Plenty of "tins" at the store with mints and other things (as stated). Also plastic travel soap holders.

I’ll second the suggestion to use small tins. I happen to use these Grether’s tins.

Thanks for the suggestions. That tin is cool. Looks like a good idea!

I just received some drawstring pouches from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0156 ... UTF8&psc=1. They hold a handful of picks, two capos, a Snark and fits in the pocket of a Hiscox case along with a leather strap. The Hiscox has a more shallow accessory pocket than my other cases and there was still room for more in the pouch.

When I got my first Blue Chip pick I had to think hard about where to store it carefully.

I saw one of these in an antique shop - I think my wife bought it for me. Since then they have become standard issue in all my guitar cases :

All really great suggestions!

I don't have enough picks to fill one of those big nice boxes. All I have a blue chip wooden box with four picks in it. A Collings medium, a 35 Blue Chip, a 60 Blue Chip (for Mando), and vintage tortoise shell pick.

Keeping them in one place certainly saves the house-wide hunt for the correct pick. Lol.
