Medium strings for OM1A JL?

Anyone experimented with mixed sets or mediums for the the JL?

I did use medium on the OM1aJL... It's a Collings with a belly bridge. I also used mediums on a 0001g that i owned. But I found the guitar sounded better to me with 12-54 on it... it was just more resonant.

I put some medium strings on my OM1a-jl and found it did not did not sound good. This guitar needs flexible light strings
